Our Methodology
Benefit estimates use the SSA PIA formula with 2026 bend points ($1,286 and $7,749), the 2026 COLA of 2.8%, and official claiming age reduction/credit rules per SSA.gov. AIME is estimated from average annual earnings and years worked — not from your actual SSA earnings record. For your exact benefit based on your actual earnings history, create a my Social Security account at SSA.gov.
